[9:03] Whump Linden: We've been adding Teen Grid residents who are interested in OGP to a teen-only group. Periapse has been in touch with them.
[9:03] Xugu Madison: So if we have an OpenSim grid we want teens to be able to access, they theoretically can?
[9:04] Whump Linden: We would need to assure that only Teen grid avatars could teleport or login to that grid.
[9:04] Xugu Madison: Ah... can't mix them? Makes... well, it follows the logic of your policies, anyway :)
[9:05] TUX Hultcrantz: I have an idea about the void sims after a teleport - have you seen that?
[9:05] Whump Linden: TUX, is there a JIRA for that one?
[9:05] TUX Hultcrantz: no, i will file one
[9:06] TUX Hultcrantz: it is a long-time issue in OpenSim
[9:06] TUX Hultcrantz: it is caused by very long distance teleports
[9:06] TUX Hultcrantz: so, i will put up a jira and a mantis for it
[9:06] Whump Linden: When you open a JIRA on that, would you link the related Mantis?

[9:11] TUX Hultcrantz: last night, i teleported to sim1.vaak.lindenlab.com and it was void....
[9:12] TUX Hultcrantz: but the region next door resolved
[9:12] Whump Linden: strange
[9:12] TUX Hultcrantz: so, that is what tipped me to the OpenSim behaviour
[9:13] Whump Linden: We're holding off on releasing the next viewer, still looking at some issues with it.
[9:13] TUX Hultcrantz: what is sim1 running?
[9:13] TUX Hultcrantz: is it internal LL
[9:13] TUX Hultcrantz: ?
[9:13] Whump Linden: It's one of our sims, yes.
[9:13] TUX Hultcrantz: ok, good
[9:14] TUX Hultcrantz: that would mean that it is probably OpenSim, not passing something off at the origion of the TP
[9:15] Whump Linden: Okay, that may be useful for chasing down an issue we're seeing in the candidate OG viewer with failed teleports.

[9:17] Xugu Madison: Things seem to be getting quieter now everyone's happy it works. It'll probably liven up as soon as the next big feature's added to OGP

[9:18] Whump Linden: Teravus is in #gridnauts answering questions about the build.

[9:20] Whump Linden: yes, I think he said he's in a release cycle for this day gig.

[9:20] TUX Hultcrantz: maybe it's narrowed down enough now to close pretty fast
[9:21] TUX Hultcrantz: i have known about this in OpenSim for a while, but I don't usualy file reports until I have a good handle on what is happening

[9:23] Whump Linden: Yes, I'm reminded of hearing from everyone that you "Must run fix permissions in Disk Utility" before installing system software updates on the Mac.
